The Gathering is a yearly event held here at Barr Run Farm and Forge—a weekend dedicated to makers, craftsmen, and anyone who loves creating things with their hands. Throughout the weekend, we’ll have open forging, metalworking, machining, and woodworking, as well as a special group project that everyone can participate in and take home a piece of.

Beyond the work, we spend time in fellowship, sharing skills, and learning from one another across all kinds of crafts and trades.

• Meals – Food will be provided for the weekend. We also encourage everyone to bring their favorite snacks and drinks from their region (excluding alcohol).

• Who Can Attend? – Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a blacksmith, woodworker, machinist, or simply interested in learning, this event is for you. Families are welcome too.
